# Preview an owned embedded signup form

`GET /form-builder/{formId}/preview`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.maildroppa.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.maildroppa.com/form-builder/{formId}/preview`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Returns a transient runtime definition for the preview renderer, without publishing, recording a view or submitting a signup. Supports INLINE, POPUP and SLIDER.

## Path parameters

- `formId` string, uuid, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Not Authorized
- `403`: Not Allowed
- `428`: Accept the customer agreements in the app before using API keys.
