# Delete identity links

`POST /api/v1/delete/identity-link`

## Request

- Base URL: `/` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/api/v1/delete/identity-link`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Removes the link between mailboxes and their Identity Provider users (admins only). The mailbox is linked again by email on the next sync run or login, e.g. after its address was given to another Identity Provider user.
