# Execute a streaming pipeline command

`POST /v1/projects/{projectId}/streaming-pipelines/{streamingPipelineId}/commands`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://eu1.api.matillion.com/dpc`
- URL: `https://eu1.api.matillion.com/dpc/v1/projects/{projectId}/streaming-pipelines/{streamingPipelineId}/commands`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Sends a request to the streaming agent to run the specified streaming pipeline command (e.g. start, stop)

## Path parameters

- `projectId` string, uuid, required
- `streamingPipelineId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- StreamingPipelineCommandRequest
  - `command` 'START' | 'STOP', required: The command to be sent to the streaming agent

## Response `202`

Successfully executed streaming pipeline command

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request
- `403`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Streaming Pipeline not found
- `409`: Streaming pipeline status conflict (e.g. trying to start a running pipeline or stop a stopped pipeline)
- `500`: Unexpected error occurred
