# Submit Task Decisions

`POST /v1/ai/agents/tasks/{taskId}/decisions`

## Request

Submits approval or question-answer decisions for a task that is awaiting human input.

        - `answers` QuestionAnswer[], required: The answers to the questions posed by the agent
          - `questionIndex` integer: The zero-based index of the question being answered
          - `selectedOptions` string[], required: The selected option values for the question
        - `id` string, uuid, required: The unique identifier of the question decision
      - ToolApprovalDecision
        - `type` string, required
        - `approved` boolean, required: Whether to approve the tool invocation
        - `id` string, uuid, required: The unique identifier of the tool invocation to approve or deny
        - `scope` 'ONCE' | 'CONVERSATION', nullable: The scope of the approval — ONCE for a single invocation, CONVERSATION for the entire task

Decisions submitted successfully

  - `pendingDecisions` PendingPermission[]: The list of decisions still pending after processing
    - `permissionMessage` PermissionMessage
      - `body` string: A detailed description of the permission being requested
      - `title` string: A short title summarising the permission request
    - `toolId` string: The unique identifier of the tool invocation
    - `toolInput` unknown
    - `toolName` string: The name of the tool requesting permission
    - `type` 'tool' | 'question': The type of decision required

- `400`: Invalid request body
- `401`: Missing or invalid authentication token
