# Update and redeploy a stream application.

`PUT /_fabric/{fabric}/_api/streamapps/{appname}`

## Other responses

- `400`: Failed due to missing or malformed data. Verify that all parameters are complete.
- `404`: Failed to find specified stream application.
- `422`: Failed to update stream application because there is an error in the definition.
