# Get the information about search view

`GET /_fabric/{fabric}/_api/search/view/{view-name}`

Fetch information about a search view.

## Path parameters

- `fabric` string, string, required
- `view-name` string, string, required

## Response `200`

Successfully fetched search view.

  - `error` boolean: Flag if there is an error in response. *False* for this response.
  - `result` object: Search view information
    - `globallyUniqueId` string: Unique identifier of the collection
    - `id` string: Unique identifier of the search view
    - `name` string: Name of the search view
    - `type` string: *search* as type of search view

## Other responses

- `400`: Failed due to missing or malformed data. Verify that all parameters are complete.
- `403`: Failed to validate because you do not have access to the server.
- `404`: Failed to find specified collection.
