# Read in- or outbound edges

`GET /_fabric/{fabric}/_api/edges/{collection-id}`

## Request

Fetch an array of edges starting or ending in the vertex identified by *vertex*.

## Path parameters

- `fabric` string, string, required
- `collection-id` string, string, required

## Query parameters

- `vertex` string, required
- `direction` string

## Response `200`

Successfully fetched the edges.

## Other responses

- `400`: Failed due to missing or malformed data. Verify that all parameters are complete.
- `404`: Failed to find specified edge collection.
