# Information of the GeoFabric

`GET /_fabric/{fabric}/_api/database/metadata`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.

Fetch information about a GeoFabric.

## Path parameters

- `fabric` string, string, required

## Response `200`

Successfully fetched the information for the GeoFabric.

- GetGeoFabricInfoRc200
  - `code` integer: HTTP response code.
  - `error` boolean: Flag if there was an error. It is *false* in this response.
  - `result` object
    - `name` string
    - `options` GetUserGeoFabricsOptionsExamplesRc200
      - `associated_regions` string[]: List of data centers added.
      - `clusters` string[]: List of data centers added.
      - `dcList` string: List of data centers added.
      - `dynamo_local_tables` boolean: Flag indicator for dynamo_local_tables
      - `metadata` object: An optional JSON object with user defined key-value pairs
      - `name` string: Name of GeoFabric
      - `realTime` boolean: Whether the changes are published in real time streams
      - `spotDc` string: The Edge Location (Datacenter) where on-spot operations for the GeoFabric is performed
      - `status` string: Available or not
      - `tenant` string: Tenant name
    - `isSystem` boolean: Whether or not the current GeoFabric is the _system fabric

## Other responses

- `400`: Failed due to missing or malformed data. Verify that all parameters are complete.
- `403`: Failed to validate because you do not have access to the server.
- `404`: Failed to find specified GeoFabric.
