# Update contact details

`PUT /_api/billing/contact`

## Request

- The document declares no server URL.
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `Authorization`
  - HTTP bearer
- TypeScript: <https://skmtc.dev/macrometa/apis/macrometa-api-reference/docs/_api/billing/contact/put.ts> (a function with typed inputs; its response is checked against the schema)

Update contact details for given tenant name.

**Note**:
- This API is not applicable for system tenants.
- Updates the Stripe account.

## Request body

- ContactUpdate
  - `firstname` string: First Name
  - `lastname` string: Last Name
  - `email` string: Email address
  - `phone` string: Phone number
  - `line1` string: Address line 1
  - `line2` string: Address line 2
  - `city` string: City
  - `state` string: State
  - `country` string: Two-letter country code (ISO 3166-1 alpha-2).
  - `zipcode` string: Zip code

## Response `200`

Successfully updated contact details.

- ResponseBillingCode200
  - `code` integer: HTTP response code.
  - `error` boolean: Flag if there is an error in response. *False* for this response.
  - `message` string: Message from server

## Other responses

- `400`: Failed due to missing or malformed data. Verify that all parameters are complete.
- `401`: Failed because you do not have administrator permissions.
- `403`: Failed to validate because you do not have access to the server.
- `409`: Failed becasue billing plan already exists.
