# Quick search: one city, answered in the same request

`POST /api/v1/search`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://lyreleads.com`
- URL: `https://lyreleads.com/api/v1/search`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Synchronous and small: one city, paging from its centre, up to 100 listings (5 pages × 20), returned in the response with result_ids. Each NEW listing costs 1 lead and a page of nothing new costs nothing. For whole-area coverage use POST /api/v1/searches with mode "grid", which finds several times more in a dense metro.

## Request body

- object
  - `query` string, required: Business type or keyword
  - `city` string, required: City to search in
  - `country` string, required: Country name
  - `pages` integer: Pages of results (1–5, 20 results each)

## Response `200`

Array of business results with leads_used and leads_remaining

## Other responses

- `402`: Insufficient leads
- `403`: Plan upgrade required
