# Get a Specific Document

`GET /v2/transactions/{transactionId}/documents/{documentId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pre.transactiondesk.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the document binary of a specific file within a transaction.

## Response `200`

Document returned successfully

- DocumentWithBinary
  - `id` string, uuid: DocumentGUID
  - `fileTypeId` string, uuid: File type GUID. See Glossary for values.
  - `documentName` string
  - `dateCreated` string, date-time
  - `lastModified` string, date-time
  - `binary` string: Base64 encoded document binary

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Document not found
