# Get a Specific Transaction

`GET /v2/transactions/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.pre.transactiondesk.com`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns a specific transaction file owned by the authenticated user.

## Response `200`

Transaction returned successfully

- Transaction
  - `id` string, uuid: TransactionGUID used to uniquely identify this specific Transaction
  - `name` string: Name of the transaction file as it appears in the application
  - `statusId` string, uuid: TransactionStatusGUID. See [Get Transaction Statuses](https://apidocs.lwolf.com/doc/transactiondesk-api/operation/operation-get-v2-transactions-statuses) endpoint for available values.
  - `typeId` string, uuid: TransactionTypeGUID. See [Get Transaction Types](https://apidocs.lwolf.com/doc/transactiondesk-api/operation/operation-get-v2-transactions-types) endpoint for available values.
  - `ownerId` string, uuid: OwnerID of this Transaction File
  - `dateCreated` string, date-time
  - `lastModified` string, date-time

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: Transaction not found
