# Create a share group

`POST /transact-workflow/v1/users/{userId}/ShareGroup`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.lwolf.com`
- URL: `https://api.lwolf.com/transact-workflow/v1/users/{userId}/ShareGroup`
- Auth: HTTP bearer and API key in header `lw-subscription-key`

Creates a new, empty share group. Use the update endpoint to add members and share opportunities.

## Path parameters

- `userId` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- ShareGroupCreate
  - `name` string, required: Display name of the share group.

## Response `201`

Share group created.

## Other responses

- `400`: The request is malformed or contains invalid parameters.
- `401`: The access token is missing, invalid, or expired.
- `403`: The caller is not permitted to perform this operation.
- `404`: The requested resource does not exist.
