# Episode Metrics

`GET /svm/tv_shows/{id}/seasons/{season}/episodes/{episode}/metrics`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.luminatedata.com`
- URL: `https://api.luminatedata.com/svm/tv_shows/{id}/seasons/{season}/episodes/{episode}/metrics`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key` and API key in header `authorization`

Retrieves metrics for a tv show episode

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required
- `season` string, required
- `episode` string, required

## Query parameters

- `start_date` string, date, required
- `end_date` string, date, required

## Response `200`

Complete metrics over the date range requested

- SuccessfulResponseEpisodeMetricsResponse
  - `data` EpisodeMetricsResponse
    - `id` string: Unique Luminate ID assigned to the TV show
    - `season` string: ID of the TV show’s season
    - `episode` string: Episode of the season
    - `start_date` string, date: First date used in the aggregation of the consumption data. Value must be formatted according to the ISO 8601 date standard (YYYY-MM-DD).
    - `end_date` string, date: Last date used in the aggregation of the consumption data. Value must be formatted according to the ISO 8601 date standard (YYYY-MM-DD).
    - `metrics` Metric[]: List of metrics for the TV show’s episode
      - `name` 'minutes_watched' | 'views' | 'duration_to_date': Name of metric
      - `granularity` 'daily': Level of aggregation of the consumption data
      - `value` DataPoint[]: Time series of the metric
        - `date` string, date
        - `value` integer
        - `data_status` 'official' | 'preliminary': Status of the consumption data
        - `duration_to_date` integer

## Other responses

- `206`: Incomplete metrics over the date range requested
- `400`: Issue with client request
- `404`: Series, season, or episode not found
