# Musical Works

`GET /musical_works/{id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.luminatedata.com`
- URL: `https://api.luminatedata.com/musical_works/{id}`
- Auth: API key in header `x-api-key` and API key in header `authorization`

Receive metadata for a Musical Work using a Luminate ID or ISWC.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: Unique Luminate ID or ISWC assigned to the Musical Work.

## Query parameters

- `id_type` 'luminate' | 'iswc', required
- `metadata_level` 'max' | 'min'

## Headers

- `Accept` 'application/vnd.luminate-data.svc-apibff.v1+json'

- MusicalWorkResponse
  - `id` string: Unique Luminate ID assigned to the Musical Work.
  - `iswc` string: International Standard Musical Work Code assigned to the Musical Work.
  - `title` string: Title of the Musical Work.
  - `creators` Creator[]: Songwriters, composers, and other creators of the Musical Work.
    - `name` string: Name of the songwriter, composer, or other creator of the Musical Work.
    - `role` string: Role the creator holds on the Musical Work.
    - `ipi` string: Interested Parties Information number identifying the creator.
  - `status` string: Registration status of the Musical Work. Returned when metadata_level is max.
  - `registration_date` string: Date the Musical Work was registered. Returned when metadata_level is max.
