# Delete an LB end-point from monitoring

`DELETE /config/endpoint/epipaddress/{ip_address}`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://0.0.0.0:11111/netlox/v1`
- URL: `http://0.0.0.0:11111/netlox/v1/config/endpoint/epipaddress/{ip_address}`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Delete an LB end-point from monitoring. The entry key is derived from the query parameters - pass name, or probe_type and probe_port, exactly as at creation time, or the lookup fails with host-notfound. An end-point referenced by a load-balancer rule cannot be deleted (fails with LB Rule-referred) - it is reclaimed automatically when the rule or the rule end-point is deleted. To stop probing such an end-point instead, re-POST it with probeType none

## Path parameters

- `ip_address` string, required

## Query parameters

- `name` string
- `probe_type` string
- `probe_port` number

## Response `204`

OK

## Other responses

- `400`: Malformed arguments for API call
- `401`: Invalid authentication credentials
- `403`: Capacity insufficient
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Resource Conflict. VLAN already exists OR dependency VRF/VNET not found
- `500`: Internal service error
- `503`: Maintenance mode
