# Adds a BGP global config

`POST /config/bgp/global`

## Request

- Base URL: `http://0.0.0.0:11111/netlox/v1`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Adds a BGP global config

## Request body

- BGPGlobalConfig
  - `routerId` string, required: BGP Router ID
  - `localAs` integer, required: Local AS number
  - `SetNextHopSelf` boolean: Adds policy to set next hop as self, if enabled
  - `listenPort` integer: Listen port (default 179)

## Response `204`

OK

- `400`: Malformed arguments for API call
- `401`: Invalid authentication credentials
- `403`: Capacity insufficient
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Resource Conflict.
- `500`: Internal service error
- `503`: Maintenance mode
