# Credit an invalid Sponsored ad tap

`POST /v1/admin/ads/clicks/{click_id}/credit`

Credit an invalid Sponsored ad tap. The response is scoped and validated by the runtime repository; unknown or unauthorized resources use the canonical error envelope.

Credit an invalid Sponsored ad tap response

- object: Audited decision: a charged ad tap is credited back to the advertising balance (an invalid-tap credit with the same purchased/promotional split, never a card refund); an uncharged tap is only marked invalid. A tap is never credited twice (409). Requires manage_billing.
