# Release an advertising payment hold

`POST /v1/admin/ads/accounts/{account_id}/release-hold`

Release an advertising payment hold. The response is scoped and validated by the runtime repository; unknown or unauthorized resources use the canonical error envelope.

## Response `200`

Release an advertising payment hold response

- object: Releases a reviewed payment hold (a dispute hold is released only by the dispute's outcome). Human admin with a fresh second factor; manage_billing; audited.
