# Pause Subscription

`POST /2026-04/subscription/{subscriptionId}/pause`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.loopsubscriptions.com/admin`
- URL: `https://api.loopsubscriptions.com/admin/2026-04/subscription/{subscriptionId}/pause`
- Auth: API key in header `X-Loop-Token`

This endpoint allows you to pause an active subscription, halting future billing and deliveries until it is resumed.

## Path parameters

- `subscriptionId` integer, required

## Request body

- object
  - `pauseDuration` object, required: Optional object used to specify a fixed duration for pausing the subscription. If not provided, the subscription will remain paused indefinitely until manually resumed.
    - `intervalCount` integer
    - `intervalType` 'DAY' | 'MONTH' | 'YEAR' | 'CUSTOM'
    - `resumeDateEpoch` string: This key is used to directly pass the resume date while pausing subscription for a definite pause.
