# Create a workflow group

`POST /v1/workflow-groups`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.loops.so/api`

Create a new workflow group.

## Request body

- CreateGroupRequest
  - `name` string, required: The group name. Cannot be the reserved name "Unsorted".
  - `description` string: An optional description for the group.

## Response `200`

Workflow group created.

- GroupResponse
  - `id` string, required: The ID of the group.
  - `name` string, required: The name of the group.
  - `description` string, required: The description of the group.
  - `createdAt` string, date-time, required: ISO 8601 timestamp for when the group was created.
  - `updatedAt` string, date-time, required: ISO 8601 timestamp for when the group was last updated.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body or reserved group name.
- `401`: Invalid API key.
- `405`: Wrong HTTP request method.
