# Update a contact

`PUT /contacts/{contactId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.loopify.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.loopify.com/contacts/{contactId}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - OAuth 2 (authorization code, authorization URL `https://auth.loopify.com/connect/authorize`, token URL `https://auth.loopify.com/token`, scopes: `ContactDataManagement`, `WriteContacts`, `AccountAPIKey`)

#### Auth policies: ContactDataManagement,WriteContacts,AccountAPIKey 

 This will replace the contact with the supplied payload. Make sure you supply a complete contact
