# Restart a run

`POST /runs/{id}/restart`

## Request

Restarts a failed or completed run from a specific step.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Request body

  - `fromStepId` string, required: Step ID to restart from (inclusive).
  - `overrideInput` object: Override workflow input fields.
