# Delete a task

`DELETE /projects/{project_id}:{branch}/tasks/{task_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.lokalise.com/api2`

- Auth: API key in header `X-Api-Token`

Deletes a task from the project. Requires *Manage tasks* admin right.

Requires <code>write_tasks</code> OAuth access scope.
