# Adds messages to an enquiry

`POST /v1/reservation/enquiry/{id}/messages`

Add one or more messages for a specific enquiry.

## Path parameters

- `id` integer, required

## Request body

- LodgifyMessagingLegacyPublicApiModelsCreateBookingMessageDto[]
  - `subject` string, nullable: Subject of the Booking/enquiry message
  - `message` string, nullable: Content of the message
  - `type` 'Owner' | 'Comment' | 'Renter'
  - `send_notification` boolean: When Type is Owner, send a notification to guest via Email if configured in the recipient. If booking source is an external channel the message will be pushed. Settled to False by default for backward compatibility.
  - `message_id` string, uuid: The unique idempotent identifier of the message. If not provided, a new Guid will be generated.
