Nearest EPA AirNow monitors and NOAA HMS smoke polygons at a point for agents. Reports monitor distance, AQI category, source freshness, and smoke density. Not wildfire hazard: locus_wildfire_risk (modeled), locus_wildfire_history (perimeters). No nearby monitor is not good air; never ties AQI to a fire or scores safe/unsafe. Direct flat-body route for this one free resource; no API key, payment, or catalog wrapper. Return only the cited bounded evidence described here; this route never produces a paid brief or full report.

  - `address` string: Optional US street address or place; NC uses AddressNC first, other areas use the national geocoder fallback when latitude/longitude are not provided.
  - `latitude` number: Optional decimal latitude; provide with longitude to skip address geocoding.
  - `longitude` number: Optional decimal longitude; provide with latitude to skip address geocoding.
  - `radiusKm` integer: Optional nearest-monitor search radius in kilometers; default 80, max 250. NOAA smoke uses exact point intersection.
