# Ownership-loop composite: dated changes around one place

`POST /api/locus-ownership-loop`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.locus.report`
- URL: `https://api.locus.report/api/locus-ownership-loop`
- Auth: one of:
  - API key in header `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`
  - API key in header `Authorization`

Returns the same development, capital-project, sale, FEMA, and tax-calendar scan as the free route, for an owner or manager checking what changed nearby. Returns the same records as locus_ownership_loop. Use this when your client can only call paid x402 routes. Use locus_ownership_loop instead when you can call Locus free tools (REST tools/call or MCP).

## Request body

  - `address` string: Optional US street address or place; NC uses AddressNC first, other areas use the national geocoder fallback when latitude/longitude are not provided.
  - `latitude` number: Optional decimal latitude; provide with longitude to skip address geocoding.
  - `longitude` number: Optional decimal longitude; provide with latitude to skip address geocoding.
  - `radiusMeters` integer: Optional search radius in meters for nearby ownership-loop lanes; default 1500, max 5000.
  - `county` string: Optional covered county name for the tax calendar, e.g. Wake.
  - `state` string: Optional two-letter state code for FEMA declarations; provide with countyFips3.
  - `countyFips3` string: Optional 3-digit county FIPS for FEMA declarations, e.g. 183 for Wake.
  - `zip` string: Optional 5-digit or ZIP+4 code for NFIP flood-claim history.

## Response `200`

Atomic read result. A substantive result is paid; an empty/out-of-coverage result carries charged:false (x402 settlement suppressed).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid request body.
- `402`: Payment Required. For x402 v2, repeat the identical request with a valid PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header (legacy X-PAYMENT is accepted for compatibility), or use Authorization: Payment for MPP Tempo when advertised in x-payment-info.offers.
