# Cited property-value appeal deadline calculator

Cited property-value appeal deadline for owners in a covered state; returns the rule, statute, source, computed dates when inputs support them, caveats, and verify-next, for a notice date or protest window. Returns the same records as locus_appeal_window. Use this when your client can only call paid x402 routes. Use locus_appeal_window instead when you can call Locus free tools (REST tools/call or MCP).

## Request body

- object
  - `noticeDate` string, date: Optional ISO date YYYY-MM-DD from the owner's notice; use the mailed, delivered, printed, or publication date named by the returned rule.
  - `year` integer: Tax year; defaults to the current year.
  - `locality` string: Optional locality row: nyc_class1, nyc_other, nassau, or philadelphia. Other localities return coverage guidance.
  - `propertyClass` string: Optional published property class. NYC class 1 selects the nyc_class1 row when locality is not supplied.
  - `revaluationYear` boolean: NJ only: true when a municipal-wide revaluation or reassessment was implemented.
  - `countyExtended` boolean: WA only: true when the county adopted the 60-day notice period.
  - `state` string: Two-letter US state abbreviation or full state name, for example TX or Texas.
  - `address` string: Full US address used to resolve the governing state, county, and locality.

## Response `200`

Atomic read result. A substantive result is paid; an empty/out-of-coverage result carries charged:false (x402 settlement suppressed).

- `400`: Invalid request body.
- `402`: Payment Required. For x402 v2, repeat the identical request with a valid PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header (legacy X-PAYMENT is accepted for compatibility), or use Authorization: Payment for MPP Tempo when advertised in x-payment-info.offers.
