# Preview a voice for a character

`POST /v1/studio/series/{seriesId}/characters/{characterId}/voice-preview`

## Other responses

- `400`: A required field is missing (code VALIDATION_FAILED)
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `402`: Not enough credits for the preview (code BILLING_INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS)
- `404`: Series or character not found, or "Voice not found.": the voice is neither a premade/professional catalog voice nor cast on the viewer's own characters. Nothing was saved or charged.
- `503`: The voice is not one of the viewer's own and the ElevenLabs voice catalog cannot be read right now (timeout, network error or provider error). Code PROVIDER_UNAVAILABLE, reason voice_catalog_unavailable; nothing was saved or charged.
