# Reference-image limits per model operation

For every enabled model operation that takes reference images: the count the catalog binding allows, the character-consistency cap, accepted types and sizes. `startFrame` is the start-frame compose limit (characters next to the location plate). With `imageModelId`, `imageModel` is the limit that image model generates with references under.

## Query parameters

- `imageModelId` string: An image model id as the character / location generate routes take it (`selectedImageModelId`): the response's `imageModel` is the limit that model generates with references under.
