# Sync project with live stream

`POST /projects/{id}/sync`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.livereacting.com/v1/external`
- URL: `https://api.livereacting.com/v1/external/projects/{id}/sync`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Push project changes to an active live stream.

Use this when auto-sync is disabled (`autoSynch: false`) and you want to manually
sync changes to the live stream. This is equivalent to clicking the "Sync with Live"
button in the LiveReacting Studio.

**Behavior:**
- Copies current project configuration to the active live stream
- Resets `unsyncedLive` flag to `false`

**Prerequisites:**
- Project must have an active live stream (status LIVE or PREPARING)
- Project must be owned by the authenticated user

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successfully synced project with live stream

  - `message` string
  - `liveId` string: ID of the synced live stream

## Other responses

- `400`: No active live stream
- `401`: Authentication failed
- `404`: Project not found
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
