# Delete Category

`DELETE /{client_id}/categories/{uuid}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cf-blast.livelikecdn.com/api/v1/applications`

- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Permanently deletes a category. Requires a producer access token for the application.

Only a category in the `draft` state can be deleted, and the deletion is a hard delete, so it can't be undone. A published or unpublished category fails with 400.

## Path parameters

- `client_id` string, required
- `uuid` string, uuid, required

## Response `204`

No Content. The category was deleted.

## Other responses

- `400`: The category isn't a draft.
