# Retrieve Category

`GET /{client_id}/categories/{id}/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://cf-blast.livelikecdn.com/api/v1/applications`
- URL: `https://cf-blast.livelikecdn.com/api/v1/applications/{client_id}/categories/{id}/`
- Auth: API key in header `Authorization`

Returns one category by ID. Reads are public, so no producer token is needed. A category in any state can be retrieved, but a deleted category, or one whose store was deleted, returns 404.

`sequence` is the category's position in its store. `state` is `draft`, `published` or `unpublished`, and `publish_url` and `unpublish_url` point to the actions that change it.
