# Potential Transfer

`POST /tao/pay/transfer/potential`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://lium.io/api`
- URL: `https://lium.io/api/tao/pay/transfer/potential`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

The dashboard's TAO Pay flow (TaoPayConfirm) calls this before the transfer and stops when it fails.

## Request body

- PotentialTransferRequest: POST /transfer/potential's body: the dashboard announces the transfer it is about to sign, before sending it. ``stripe_customer_id`` may be omitted; if sent it must be the caller's.
  - `stripe_customer_id` string, nullable
  - `amount_tao` number, required
  - `amount_usd` number, required
  - `rate` number, required
  - `from_wallet` string, required
  - `to_wallet` string, required
