# Get the registration details of a hotel

`GET /data/hotel/{hotelId}/registration`

## Overview

Retrieve the business registration details of a hotel: the legal entity (trader) operating the property, its registration number, the trade register it is listed in, and its published contact details.

## When to Use

- **Legal disclosure** - Show guests who they are contracting with, as required by consumer-protection rules such as the EU Digital Services Act
- **Compliance checks** - Verify the legal entity and registration number behind a property
- **Supplier vetting** - Confirm a hotel is operated by a registered business before listing it

## What You Get

- **Registration number** - The business registration or tax number published by the hotel
- **Trade register** - The register the business is listed in
- **Trader** - Legal name, verification flag, email, telephone, and address of the operating entity

## Quick Start

Provide the `hotelId` as a path parameter. Returns the registration details for that hotel, or 404 when none are known.

      - `registrationNumber` string: Business registration or tax number of the trader
      - `tradeRegister` string: Trade register the trader is listed in
      - `verified` boolean: Whether the trader details are verified
      - `email` string, email: Contact email of the trader
      - `telephone` string: Contact telephone of the trader
      - `address` string: Postal address of the trader

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad Request
- `401`: Unauthorized
- `404`: No registration details found for this hotel
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
