# List regions

`GET /data/esimply/regions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.liteapi.travel/v3.0`
- URL: `https://api.liteapi.travel/v3.0/data/esimply/regions`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

## Overview

List regional (multi-country, e.g. "Europe") and global eSIM groups that currently have at least one active plan.

## When to Use

- **Regional plan discovery** - Offer one eSIM covering several countries
- **Global coverage** - Offer a single plan for most of the world

## What You Get

- **Region catalog** - `id`, `title`, `type` (`regional` or `global`), flag and covered countries
- **Starting price** - `startingPrice` is the cheapest plan in `currency`; omitted when no priced plan exists

## Key Features

- **Filter by type**: `?type=regional` or `?type=global`; omit for both
- **Currency conversion**: Optional `Currency` header converts `startingPrice` via liteAPI FX rates
- **Next step**: Use `id` with `GET /data/esimply/regions/{regionId}/packages`

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid type or currency
- `401`: Authentication required
