# Read a public list as JSON

`GET /api/v1/lists/{id}`

Typed JSON of a PUBLIC list: title, description, tags, owner, counts, and items (text, url, note, nested sub-items), plus the canonical URL to cite. Private or removed lists are 404, never leaked. Markdown twin: /l/{id}/md.
