# Merge Accounts

`POST /v1/admin_console/merge_accounts`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.linktodm.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Merge one or more source users into a target user.

Part 1 (in-request): connected Instagram/Facebook accounts, every
automation type, contacts and contact fields move to the target and are
committed before responding.

Part 2 (background): event trackers, flow event trackers, flow
executions, inbox sessions/history, contact events and payment ledger
rows move in batches after the response is sent.

Idempotent — calling again with the same ids finishes any rows a previous
call left behind. Source users are not deactivated. Admin role only.

## Request body

- MergeAccountsRequest: Fold one or more source users into a target user. Everything the source users own (connected accounts, automations, contacts, then the event/execution history) is re-pointed at the target.
