# Look up taxonomies

`POST /taxonomies/{facet}/lookup`

## Request

Look up taxonomy items by ID.

      - `skill_type` string: Skills taxonomy type (Specialized Skill, Common Skill, or Certification).
      - `location` object, nullable
        - `lat` number, required
        - `lon` number, required
      - `is_software` boolean: Boolean indicating if the skill is a software skill.
      - `unique_postings` integer

## Other responses

- `400`: bad request
- `401`: unauthorized request
- `404`: requested resource not found
