# Normalize Companies in Bulk

`POST /versions/{versionId}/normalize/bulk`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.lightcast.io/companies`
- URL: `https://api.lightcast.io/companies/versions/{versionId}/normalize/bulk`

Normalize multiple raw company strings to a list of best matching Lightcast companies.

Supported document types and their expected Content-Type (**Document must be UTF-8 encoded.**):
  * JSON – `application/json`
  * Plain text – `text/plain`

There is a limit of 100 companies per request.

Raw company size is limited to 1kB per company.

## Other responses

- `400`: Your request wasn't valid (bad parameter names or values).
- `401`: Your request wasn't unauthorized.
- `404`: The ID you requested wasn't found.
- `413`: Request size too large.
- `415`: Unsupported Content Type.
