# BGT Resume Parsing

`POST /parserservice/resume/bgtxml`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.lightcast.io/alumni-pathways`
- URL: `https://api.lightcast.io/alumni-pathways/parserservice/resume/bgtxml`
- Auth: OAuth 2
  - Client credentials
  - Token URL: `https://auth.emsicloud.com/connect/token` scopes: `alumni-pathways`

Returns a BGT-formatted parsed resume in XML or JSON, with JSON having dynamic node structure.

## Request body

- DataRequestJSON
  - `binaryData` string, required: The binary resume data.
  - `instanceType` string, required: Instance type to be used to parse. For example, use "XRAY" to process with LENS xray.
  - `extension` string: The document extension (e.g. txt, doc, docx, rtf). Default is "txt".
  - `locale` string: Locale to be used to parse (e.g. en_us).
