# Delete Group Type

`DELETE /curricular-skills/group-types/{id}`

## Request

  - Client credentials

You may delete an existing groupType by making a DELETE request to the `/curricular-skills/group-types/{id}` endpoint.

(Note: a groupType may only be deleted if it has no groups associated with it. If it contains groups, the DELETE will fail.)

## Response `204`

OK

## Other responses

- `400`: bad request
- `403`: You don't have access to traveltime data.
- `404`: requested resource not found
