# Search for regions within travel time

`POST /{country}/{version}/{level}/traveltime`

Search for all regions with a specified travel time of a point. By default, the maximum travel time is 120 minutes.

This endpoint requires additonal permissions, please [contact us](https://docs.lightcast.dev/contact) if you'd like access to traveltime.

## Request body

  - `lon` number, required
  - `traveltimes` unknown[], required: Up to 6 travel times (drive times) can be run at a time. By default, the maximum travel time is 120 minutes, but more can be requested.

  - `intersectionMethod` 'contained' | 'centroid' | 'touching': * `touching` - Any region that is touching (intersects) the requested area. * `centroid` - Any region's who's centroid lies inside of the requested area. * `contained` - Any region that lies entirely inside of the requested area.

## Other responses

- `400`: bad request
- `403`: You don't have access to traveltime data.
- `404`: requested resource not found
