# Read settlement checks with its private counterparty token

`GET /v1/settlements/counterparty/{token}`

The private token web page also displays the latest stored check results, check time, and a shortened file fingerprint. This is a read of the stored attempt, not a new check. release_not_before is the earliest release time after a pass: the end of the 24-hour veto window, or 7 days after funding when the escrow was paid by card or by a balance bought with a card.

## Response `200`

Checks, amount, deadline, payout address registration state, release_not_before, and verdict.
