# Change your maximum share, or dispute an accepted cycle

`PATCH /v1/maintenance-feeds/{id}/seats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.licium.ai`

- Auth: one of:
  - none
  - HTTP bearer

Send exactly one of max_share_cents or dispute. A seat charged for an accepted cycle can dispute it within 48 hours of acceptance; the cycle's payout, its founding royalties and any subcontract share wait for that window and stay held for review once disputed.

  - `max_share_cents` integer
  - `dispute` object
    - `cycle` integer, required
    - `reason` string, required

## Response `200`

Maximum share updated, or the cycle is disputed and its payout held for review.

## Other responses

- `404`: No active seat, or this requester was not charged for that cycle.
- `409`: The cycle is not accepted, already disputed, or its dispute window closed.
- `429`: Too many seat changes.
