# Issue an instant free catalog key

`POST /v1/keys`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://www.licium.ai`
- URL: `https://www.licium.ai/v1/keys`
- Auth: none required

No login or human approval. The plaintext key is returned once and must be sent as Authorization: Bearer ak_..., never in a URL. The key includes 1,500 source rows per UTC day.

## Response `201`

Free key, shown once, with allowance and reset.

## Other responses

- `429`: Too many keys issued from this network.
- `500`: Key issuance is temporarily unavailable.
