# Get Stats

`GET /stats`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.licenscheck.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.licenscheck.com/stats`
- Auth: none declared

Report how many licenses are on the covered boards' current listings, cached for `CACHE_SECONDS`.

Counting reads every license (~0.2 s), so the answer is cached in this
process: enough to absorb homepage bursts while a fresh ingestion still
shows within two minutes. Delisted licenses are left out.

Args:
    repo: Injected `LicenseRepository`.

Returns:
    The license count, always exact.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- StatsOut: Headline corpus numbers for the landing page.
  - `licenses` integer, required: How many licenses are on the covered boards' current listings (delisted ones left out).
  - `licenses_is_exact` boolean, required: Always true: `licenses` is an exact count (kept for clients that read it).
