# Remove Watch

`DELETE /monitoring/watches/{watch_id}`

Stop watching a contractor. Events already sent stay in the feed.

Args:
    watch_id: The watch's ID.
    api_key_id: Injected: the caller's key.
    monitoring: Injected `MonitoringRepository`.

Returns:
    An empty 204.

Raises:
    HTTPException: 404 if this key has no current watch with that ID.

- `401`: No API key, or one that's wrong or revoked.
- `403`: A free key: monitoring needs a paid plan.
