# Start Checkout

`POST /billing/checkout`

Start buying a plan: a Stripe Checkout Session for its monthly fee plus metered verifications.

Args:
    body: Which plan; none (an older website) means the API plan.
    caller: Injected caller, for the per-visitor limit.
    gateway: Injected Stripe gateway.

Returns:
    The Checkout page to send the buyer to.

## Request body

- CheckoutIn: Which plan to buy.
  - `plan` 'starter' | 'api': starter: $29/month, 100 verifications included, then $0.35. api: $99/month, 500 included, then $0.25.

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- CheckoutOut: Where to send the buyer.
  - `url` string, required: The Stripe Checkout page for the plan.

## Other responses

- `422`: Validation Error
- `503`: Self-serve checkout isn't enabled on this server.
