# Change the app's port

`POST /v1/projects/update-port`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.liara.ir`
- URL: `https://api.liara.ir/v1/projects/update-port`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Redeploys the app's latest successful release with a new port. If the app has no successful release, nothing changes. Team permission: `operate` or `manage`.

Errors from this endpoint use the body `{"message": "..."}` instead of the standard error body.

## Query parameters

- `teamID` string: 24-character hexadecimal ID.

## Request body

- object
  - `project` string, required: The app's name.
  - `port` integer, required: The port your app listens on.

## Response `200`

The app has no successful release; nothing changed. The response body is empty.

## Other responses

- `201`: The app is being redeployed with the new port.
- `400`: `project` or `port` is missing or invalid, or the app doesn't exist or is frozen.
- `401`: The API token is missing, invalid or expired.
- `403`: With `teamID`: you aren't a member of the team (`team_not_found`), or you don't have the required permission on this app (`no_permission`).
